What We Do
Programmes that Close Inequality Gaps
We deliver practical, community-led interventions that strengthen resilience, restore dignity, and expand opportunity for vulnerable people in urban settings—especially women, youth, and marginalized groups.
Our Core Programmes
Our work focuses on mentorship, grassroots innovation, second-chance support for women, and social research that informs real solutions.
Programme 01
Mentorship & Capacity Building
Some of the vulnerable populations are left behind because they lack the knowledge and expertise to cope with the changing development mechanisms. “Urban Vulnerables” utilises the transfer of consultancy-based knowledge and working relationships to enhance bottom-up practical solutions for improving the lives of urban poor communities that lack the necessary skills.
Programme 02
Grassroots Technological Innovation
Human improvements today are being accelerated through top-down technological innovations, enabling interconnectedness between communities. However, for urban communities to globalise holistically, there is a need to innovate at grassroots levels and adopt technologies that can improve livelihoods in an efficient and environmentally sustainable manner, which puts climate change at the forefront of all innovations.
Programme 03
The Second Chance Initiative
Our second chance project mainly focuses on uplifting women who have been left behind by violence, rape, defilement, family neglect and unemployment. Second chance to give another opportunity to single mothers, school dropouts and jobless females to rise again through psycho-social connections and self-help projects.
Programme 04
Social Research & Community Insights
This lays the foundation of all work before interventions. Using social research techniques, we can identify the needs gap which are lensed through Human Centred Designs (HCD) and PASH frameworks, focusing on Conflict, Governance, Justice and Transformation challenges. This work triangulates through qualitative and quantitative methods to respond to community challenges
